Egyptian E-commerce Platform Kemmitt Expands Into Saudi Arabia
Kemitt was founded to simplify and digitise the home furnishing process by connecting customers to top brands and manufacturers.
Kemitt, an Egyptian e-commerce marketplace for furniture and home accessories, has announced its expansion into the Saudi Arabian market. This new move follows a recent undisclosed funding round.
Kemitt was founded in 2018 to help simplify and digitise the home furnishing process by connecting customers with a variety of products from top brands and manufacturers. The recent funding round provided the startup with the necessary capital to support Kemitt’s growth plans. The investment will be allocated towards technological enhancements, operational expansion, product portfolio diversification and local partnerships.
“We are incredibly excited to bring Kemitt to Saudi Arabia,” Mahmoud Fouad, co-founder and CEO of Kemitt, tells StartupScene. “This expansion is a testament to our commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. The recent funding will enable us to scale our operations, enhance our technology, and offer our unique shopping experience to Saudi consumers. Our mission is to establish Kemitt as the go-to destination for furniture shopping in the region.”
To mark their expansion, Kemitt has launched a dedicated website for Saudi Arabia, which now has over 25,000 stock keeping units (SKUs).
