Global Entrepreneurship Week Egypt Returns with Virtual Event Series

Starting Sunday 14th of November, the series will welcome entrepreneurs, investors and experts to the virtual stage.

Under the umbrella of Global Entrepreneurship Week, the Egyptian chapter of Global Entrepreneurship Network is set to host a special series of virtual talks and panels, starting Sunday 14th of November.

Things will kick off at 7PM Cairo time with Amr Abelazm - President of Global Entrepreneurship Network Egypt - delivering the opening remarks. He will be followed up by a series of talks, keynote speeches and panels until 11PM, setting the tone for more to come. Ash Rofail, General Partner at US-based VS, Openner; Eman Omran, SME Programme Team Leader at the Embassy of Canada in Egypt; and Hesham Abdelsalam from the Egyptian E-Learning University, who will kick off proceedings, setting the tone for more to come.

The programme has looked to gather the country's most distinguished businesspeople, entrepreneurs and investors to discuss entrepreneurship at large, while offering a space for education and to connect with the rest of Egypt's burgeoning ecosystem.

In 2020, Global Entrepreneurship Week's opening ceremony was held in cooperation with United Nations Egypt. Throughout the event, Global Entrepreneurship Week Egypt 2020 saw the launch of the '17 Goals Program', as well as the presentation of the sixth edition of the entrepreneurship ecosystem map in Egypt.
