The newly-acquired funds will be used to fuel operational and regional expansion as well as hire new talent, refine its products and enhance its marketing strategy.
UAE-based personal training platform, Enhance Fitness, has successfully raised $3 million in a Series A funding, in a round led by Dubai-based, Global Ventures. The newly-acquired funds will be used to fuel operational and regional expansion as well as hire new talent, refine its products and enhance its marketing strategy.
Founded in 2018 by Tarek Mounir - a former executive with more than 15 years of experience in media and music - Enhance fitness is taking over the region’s personal training industry by offering on-demand personal training across a variety of different locations. The UAE company is currently working to expand across the MENA region. With a headcount of more than 175, Enhance Fitness is rapidly growing in response to an increased demand for personalized, easily accessible personal training.
“We are delighted to complete the Series A fundraise, especially as it is one of the largest to date in this sector in the Middle East. There is a revolution taking place in fitness, health and wellness. Consumers want easy access to personal trainers and a choice of engaging exercise routines. We make that happen. The proceeds will help us continue our expansion across the region, raise our profile, and attract more talent,” said Tarek Mounir, CEO and founder of Enhance Fitness.
Enhance Fitness’ fully-integrated app connects users with personal trainers from their local area. Users can also choose from a range of workout training including yoga, Pilates, MMA and swimming and a variety of gyms.
