The Saudi Grant Management Committee is providing Egypt’s ALEXBANK with a EGP 100 million grant to help with the digitisation of small to medium enterprises (SMEs), and support Egyptian artisans. According to ALEXBANK, 1475 Egyptians will benefit from this grant, with 30% of the grant going towards female-owned enterprises and 45% going to SMEs founded by entrepreneurs under the age of 35.

In 2016, The Saudi Arabia Grant Management Committee provided a grant to Egypt worth EGP 200 million which funded 2000 projects in 27 Egyptian governorates, and created 12,000 job opportunities as a result.

This all falls under the Ministry of International Cooperation’s Global Partnerships Narrative, defined by 3 P’s: 'People at its core', 'Projects in action' and 'Purpose as the driver'. These principles are built to promote cooperation with other countries, propelling Egypt to fulfil Sustainable Development Goals locally and internationally.
