Techne Summit to Highlight Regional Innovation in Alexandria

Techne Summit, one of the largest entrepreneurship and technology events in Egypt, is returning to Alexandria this November to support innovation and technology in the country and across the region. 

The event will take place from November 5th to November 8th at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina for the seventh consecutive year, and will focus on tech innovation and investment. The Techne Summit aims to support entrepreneurship and the future of business across the region, bringing together leading industry experts, entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators.

This year’s Techne Summit will feature over 100 speakers including Dina El Shenoufy, CIO of Flat6Labs; Mohamed Edababy, General Manager at GSK; and Ayman Essawy, Cofounder of Lucky amongst others. 

Since its launch in 2015, the summit has attracted a large number of participants throughout the years. In 2021, it had over 21,000 attendees, 800 startups, and 180 investors from across 70 countries.

This year’s event will be hybrid, with the local community joining on the ground and the international community logging in virtually from around the world.

Game changers and leaders will also be present in several different tracks. While this year’s track has not yet been announced, over the years tracks have included topics such as fintech, ecommerce, marketing and media technology, investment, startup academy, and technology disruption.
