Indian multinational technology company, Zoho Corporation, announced that its online invoicing service, Zoho Invoice, will be free of charge as it extends support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Along with the challenges and administrative costs that come with billing and payment collection, businesses also require the ability to access data remotely, causing a transition from on-premise solutions to cloud-based solutions. Fully cloud-based, Zoho Invoice allows businesses to create and send professional and customised invoices quickly, as well as sending follow-ups for payments automatically and receiving payments online.

Zoho has supported businesses with their invoicing needs for 13 years, and the free offering will help SMEs expedite their billing and payment collection process and sync their AR information through Zoho’s integration of third-party applications. Zoho Invoice will also offer businesses advanced services including expenses auto recording, time tracking, and more than 30 real-time reports.

"Our roots are centered around helping the SME community which has supported Zoho from the beginning, and we understand the challenges that SMEs have had to undergo that were onset from the global pandemic,” said Hyther Nizam, President for the Middle East and Africa at Zoho.

“We hope offering Zoho Invoice for free continues to help businesses rebuild and grow amongst challenging times that they face today and for the future.”

Over the past four years, Zoho Invoice’s revenue growth has consistently increased, illustrating the need for an all-inclusive invoicing solution to support businesses’ transition from manual to digital. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, SMEs have been actively modernising their invoicing processes at an accelerated rate.
