14 New Waste Management Services Launched Across Cairo

In order to improve Cairo’s waste management system, 14 new services have been launched across 37 neighbourhoods in the capital.

Spearheaded by the Cairo Cleaning and Beautification Authority, and in collaboration with private waste management companies, the services will include the use of electric sweepers against dust pollution, the installation of trash cans in all neighbourhoods and streets, and the implementation of 100 tricycles to navigate narrow streets and increase the Authority’s capacity to respond to civilian complaints.
