Cairo Scene

New Sphinx City is getting a 6-lane wide, 16 km road that will pass through the Rod El-Farag / El-Dabaa axis and connect the city with the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road, giving its residents access to the regional ring road.

The road will serve as one of Egypt’s core infrastructure arteries, connecting future agricultural projects with regional roads as part of the New Delta Project. The new road falls under a larger development project in coordination with relevant sectors of the New Urban Communities Authority. Along with these developments, New Sphinx City will be able to launch its first public service projects, such as the Sphinx Police Complex, an urban complex, a health unit, a commercial market, a basic education school, and an internal transportation facility for travel through 6th of October and Giza areas
