200 Scholarships Offered at New Engineering & CompSci Universities

Seeking to facilitate a new generation of talent in artificial intelligence (AI), engineering, and the Internet of Things (IoT), Egypt’s Ministry of Education has announced that it will provide 200 scholarships for graduates to obtain further study at four private universities ahead of the new academic semester.

The framework will give the budding students the opportunity to enroll at King Salman International University, El Galala University, El Alamein International University, and New Mansoura University, preparing them for the country’s digital transformation as part of an effort to upgrade its labour force’s skill set to meet the demands of a changing global labour market.

Scholarship holders will benefit from a grant covering two years’ tuition, and must be graduates of the faculties of information technology, engineering, or equivalent disciplines in order to be eligible.

They must also be recent graduates with degrees obtained in 2019, 2020, or 2021. Perhaps that’s the Education Ministry’s way of looking out for optimistic graduates who stepped into the labour market as a pandemic shook the world.

Applications are currently open until September 16th, 2021. Full eligibility details and application procedures are available at https://admission.egypt-hub.edu.eg/.
