3 Water Sports Championships Will be Held for the First Time in Egypt

Pack your sunscreens because three international water sports tournaments are coming to Egypt for the first time this year. The Egyptian Swimming Federation and global water sports organisation World Aquatics are bringing some of the coolest water sports to Soma Bay in Hurghada.

The season will flutter-kick things off with the Open Water Swimming World Cup on May 8th and 9th, before diving deep with the Beach Water Polo Qualifications from May 12th to May 15th. Finally, we’ll be able to witness the beauty and grace of the Artistic Swimming World Cup from May 13th to May 15th.

Though 32 countries announced that they will be participating in these championships, a total of 40 countries are expected to give themselves a sweet tan as they compete on the beaches of the Red Sea.
