A Look at Egypt's Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai

The Egypt Pavilion at this year's massive world fair, Expo 2020 Dubai, has already left quite an impression on its early visitors.

The past and the present collide at the Egypt Pavilion amongst the excitement of Expo 2020 Dubai. The people of the world are invited to come over and check out its display of ancient gems - including the colourful coffin of an Ancient Egyptian priest and replicas of King Tut's treasures - contrasted with high-tech peeks into the country's future.

It's not just the displays catching people's eyes. Over the past week the pavilion has hosted a series of talks covering green and sustainable tourism, discussing Egypt's protected areas between the Red Sea's coral reefs and the natural wonders of Wadi Degla. Next up, we'll be hearing from the likes of Assistant Minister of Tourism Lamia Kamel, President of the Egyptian Federation of Tourism Chambers Ahmed El Wasif, and Egyptian adventurer and ecotourism entrepreneur Omar Samra in a special session on 'Egypt's Tourism Narrative - Setting a New Vibe'.

Even if you can't make the trip to Dubai, you can still tune in virtually by visiting the link in bio on their Instagram account @egyptexpo2020. The Egypt Pavilion will continuously explore Egypt's treasured past and future potential throughout Expo 2020 Dubai, which is running until March 31st, 2022.
