AXA Egypt is coming through for a community in crisis, with a host of initiatives to empower both their customers and the healthcare workers at the frontline, delivering on their promise to protect what matters most and supporting vital community initiatives in the fight against COVID-19.

Embracing their #صحتك_بالدنيا_خليك_في_البيت initiative (“Your health means the world, stay at home”), the health insurance leader has digitised a lot of its services, and offered new ones. Their whole customer base now has access to round-the-clock teleconsultation services for free, by calling their hotline 16363, and their health insurance customers have access to video calls with doctors through MyAXA mobile application. They’ve also offered a range of medical services such as home visits and lab samples, taken from the comfort of AXA customers’ homes, at no additional cost.

True to their mission of reinforcing community efforts at large, AXA Egypt has also committed to providing 20,000 free meals and rides to frontline healthcare workers in 4 hospitals across Cairo & Alexandria, in partnership with Uber.

“Since the outbreak of the pandemic, we have been fully mobilised to address two key challenges: the health emergency by protecting our employees and customers, and the social emergency by helping healthcare authorities contain the impact of COVID-19 on the community at large,” said Ayman Kandeel, Managing Director of AXA Life Insurance Egypt.
