Actor Haitham Ahmed Zaki, 35, Found Dead

Actor Haitham Ahmed Zaki, son of iconic actor Ahmed Zaki, was found dead in his apartment in Sheikh Zayed City, Giza. The time of death was reported to be early Thursday morning, and the cause of death was found to be due to sudden circulatory collapse.

The son of the late Ahmed Zaki (1949-2005) and late Hala Fouad (1958-1993) began his career in 2006 in a film called Halim, about Egyptian singer Abdel Halim Hafez. Ahmed Zaki had been producing and starring in the movie until his participation was cut short by his death in 2005; Haitham Ahmed Zaki acted in his father's place to complete the production.

Since then, he had earned a Best Egyptian Actor Award in recognition of his performance in Dawaran Shobra (2011), and became known for his part in The Treasure (2017), Kalabsh 2 (2018) and The Treasure 2 (2019).
