Ahmad Al Morsy Wins Two New Awards from the Australian Cinematographers Society

The Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS) has awarded Egyptian director Ahmad Al Morsy the Gold Award in the Documentary Films category for his part in creating "Points of Convergence", and the Silver Award in the Feature Films category for his D.O.P work on the film "Diamond Dust".

This is the 7th award that Al Morsy received from the ACS since he became an accredited member in 2018, and the 15th that he received overall. Earlier this year, Al Morsy received the Award of Distinction in the ACS's State & Territory Awards for "The Originals".

Al Morsy has recently released "The Blue Elephant: Dark Whispers", which is currently playing in cinemas. "The Blue Elephant: Dark Whispers" has so far made over EGP 102 million, making it the highest grossing film in the Egyptian box office.
