Basketball Star Mohamed Abdel-Motaleb to Lead NBA Egypt in 2023
Abdel-Motaleb will soon lead NBA Egypt’s office in Cairo, which is set to open in early 2023.
Egyptian basketball player, Olympian and former vice president of the Egyptian Basketball Federation Mohamed Abdel-Motaleb is soaring to new heights, after being named head and vice president of NBA Egypt by NBA Africa.
Adding to his extensive list of achievements on and off the basketball court - which includes multiple championships as captain of the Egyptian National Basketball team and being named the Arab Basketball Confederation’s best player in 1995 - Abdel-Motaleb will soon lead NBA Egypt’s office in Cairo, which is set to open in early 2023. Abdel-Motaleb will lead NBA Egypt league’s development initiatives across the country, grow the league’s youth outreach programs, and expand on the organisation’s media activities and social responsibility initiatives.
