Blockchain Sports & Alpha Jossor to Develop USD 3.3B Sport Complex
At the heart of the complex will be an advanced football academy featuring the latest integrated training solutions.
Blockchain Sports Ecosystem has signed a MoU with Alpha Jossor Investments, a Saudi-based investment company, to develop an innovative sports complex valued at USD 3.3 billion. Football stars Kevin Kuranyi, Jay-Jay Okocha and Jens Lehmann attended the signing ceremony in Riyadh to endorse this strategic partnership.
At the core of the project will be an advanced football academy, featuring the latest integrated training solutions. Surrounding it will be a smart, eco-friendly sports city, which will include 1,500 villas and approximately 3,330 apartments, with a budget of USD 1.6 billion.
A key aspect of the MoU is the creation of a digital ID platform for athletes, ensuring secure and transparent transactions in the sports industry. Partner academies from 16 countries will be linked to the platform, enabling data collection and identifying top talent for scholarships at the academy in Saudi Arabia.
Dubai-based Blockchain Sports leverages performance tracking, AI, XR and blockchain to revolutionise sports training. The football project is part of its broader ecosystem, partnering with over 30 academies globally and training 10,000 football players.
