British Discount Airline EasyJet to Resume Flights to Sharm el-Sheikh in June
After almost a five-year break, Easy Jet one of UK's cheapest airlines has announced their plans to resume flights to Sharm el-Sheikh in June.

After almost a five-year break, EasyJet one of UK's cheapest airlines has announced their plans to resume flights to Sharm el-Sheikh in June.
The resumption of flights comes after the UK government's October decision to lift their advisory warning against British flights to Sharm el-Sheikh’s airport. The almost 5-year travel warning was put in place in response to the 2015 downing of a Russian passenger shortly after departing from the resort city.
On Wednesday, EasyJet announced that starting in June, it will be offering two flights a week from Manchester to Sharm. They also announced plans to schedule two flights a week in September directly connecting London Gatwick with Sharm el-Sheikh.
EasyJet is just the latest airline to resume its flights as many airlines are looking to capitalise on Egypt's recent tourism boom.
