The UK Minister of State for International Trade, Greg Hands, thanked Egypt for the large volume of medical gowns currently en route to the UK.

The exchange came after joint cooperation with the Egyptian Ambassador in the UK and the British Ambassador to Egypt Geoffrey D. Adams to help the UK deal with their medical supply shortages due to the rapid rise in the number of Coronavirus cases.

Egypt has released numerous shipments of healthcare supplies since the onset of the pandemic, sending two aircrafts on April 4th and one aircraft on March 22nd to Italy, as well as 44 shipments of detergents to a Libyan port last Saturday.
