The Cairo Criminal Court has sentenced Egyptian man Mohamed S. for the kidnapping, sexual assault, and murder of Sudanese infant Janet Gomaa. The Public Prosecution ordered the referral of the accused to the competent criminal court in case number 5901 of 2024, concerning charges of kidnapping the victim, sexually assaulting her, and premeditated murder, all of which are punishable by death.
