The Cairo International Book Fair - the oldest and largest book fair in the MENA region, with over 1,000 publishing houses in attendance - is holding its 54th edition on January 25th at the Egypt International Exhibitions Center in New Cairo.

Every year, thousands flock to the Cairo International Book Fair to engage in an annual celebration of Arabic literature and heritage, and peruse a diverse collection of books from the region’s most established publishing houses and bookstores, from Egypt’s Dar Al Nahda to Palestine’s Samir Mansour.

This year, almost 3,000 performances and other cultural events and activities will be available during the two-week fair, which will run until Monday, February 6th.

The book fair will be open every day from 10 AM until 8 PM, with the exception of Thursdays and Fridays when it will be open from 10 AM until 9 PM.

Online reservations will be available soon through the official Cairo International Book Fair Facebook page.
