Cairo University Introduces New Diploma in Pharmacoeconomics

Cairo University is launching a new diploma in Pharmacoeconomics and Health Technology Assessment in cooperation with the United Kingdom’s Bournemouth University.

The cooperation between Cairo University and Bournemouth University looks to create new opportunities for students who are currently working or aiming to work in the pharmaceutical, medical or diagnostic industries, within health technology policy formulation, or who wish to develop evidence-based healthcare skills for pharmacoeconomics and health technology assessment.

The programme was designed for long-distance learning using a credit-hour system, and requires the applicant to be a specialist in the field of health care at the local or global level, and to have a higher qualification such as an international certificate in occupational healthcare-related fields, including pharmacy, medicine, nursing and veterinary medicine.
