Cairow Challenges You to Row for Palestine

One of Cairo’s most popular water sports centres, Cairow, is challenging local athletes to ‘Row for Palestine’. In their latest initiative, Cairow tasks all comers to row for 50 kilometres within one month to help raise funds for the Egyptian Red Crescent and their mission to provide medical aid in the Gaza Strip.

When you sign up for the challenge, you donate EGP 300 to the Egyptian Red Crescent through Cairow’s page. Once you do that, you have 30 days to finish the distance and win a limited edition medal for all your hard work.

You can row, use a rowing machine, or do any other water sport as long as you do it over 50 kilometres, and as long as you use a GPS app to monitor your distance. After you’re done, send over your screenshots to info.cairow.watersports@gmail.com and pick up your medal.
