Chelsea Acquire Salah

It is absolutely official. The contract has been signed and Mohamed Salah is officially Chelsea's newest player. After a bidding war between Liverpool and Newcastle, Chelsea managed to slyly outbid everyone, offering Salah around £11 million GBP making him the highest paid Egyptian footballer in history. The previous record was held by Mido who earned 12 million Euros. 

This deal is signed and all that stands in the way is him passing his medical and physical test. On Wednesday, Chelsea parted ways with Juan Mata who will be joining Manchester United. With the freed up money they wasted no time in purchasing Salah. With all the moves being made these days, the English premier league will look a lot different, but ultimately just got that much more exciting.
