Climate Projects Worth USD 15 Billion to Be Implemented in Egypt

The presidency of the COP27 UN Climate Change Conference has announced that the government has signed partnerships for its Nexus of Water-Food-Energy programme. Investments worth USD 15 billion will be spent to support the implementation of these climate projects.

 The investments will go towards various initiatives, with one energy project worth USD 10 billion, while the rest of the investments will go towards projects that involve food security, agriculture and water.
