Construction Begins on El-Tahrir Complex Luxury Hotel 'Cairo House'

Construction work has begun on Downtown Cairo’s El-Tahrir Complex hotel project. The redevelopment project will turn Mogamaa El-Tahrir, once an imposing block of state bureaucracy, into a lavish luxury lifestyle destination known as ‘Cairo House’.

Led by US-based Global Ventures and Oxford Capital, and fuelled with a USD 200 million investment from UAE’s Al Otaiba Investment, the complex will feature a luxury hotel with a glamorous office space and a commercial centre all at once. There will be over 450 hotel rooms, multiple fine-dining restaurants and a rooftop entertainment venue.
