EGP 9 Billion to Develop Roads in Menoufia
The fund was raised between Menoufia’s governorate, the Ministry of Transport, and the General Authority for Roads and Bridges.
The governorate of Menoufia has witnessed a boom in the road infrastructure sector, allocating EGP 9 billion to the development of its main roads.
Raised between the Ministry of Transport, the General Authority for Roads and Bridges, and the governorate of Menoufia, the EGP 9 billion was allocated into a fund that has initiated a number of projects in 2022. These projects include the construction of the Toukh-Tanbesha Bridge, and the expansion of the Cairo-Alexandria agricultural road.
Additionally, the fund has helped re-pave the Al-Qanater Al-Khairiya road as well as the Shebin El-Koum-Al-Bajour-Al-Qanater highway, and construct an upper bridge in Quwaysna.
