Egypt Jumps 13 Places in Global Talent Competitiveness Index

Egypt has jumped 13 places in the Global Competitiveness Index published by INSEAD.


In particular, Egypt had made huge gains within the index’s sublists for vocational and technical skills for its income group, where it advanced 48 places from Rank 104 in 2020, to Rank 56 in 2021.


In another category, Egypt rose in the employability index to Rank 89 in 2021, compared to Rank 128 in 2020.


In terms of accessibility to highly skilled employees, Egypt leaped to Rank 62 in 2021, compared to Rank 104 in 2020, marking an upwards trajectory for emerging professionals.


The annual index assesses the competitiveness of talent based on 68 variables divided into 6 axes and 14 indicators. INSEAD compiles the index as a benchmark on talent competitiveness, ranking 134 countries on how they grow, attract and retain talent.
