Egypt Opens Applications for 500 Data Science Scholarships
The MCIT-PDSA is an entirely free training programme that is built from the ground up to refine young Egyptians’ practical experiences with advanced technology and data science.

The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology has opened applications to a new accredited scholarship by Amazon Web Services (AWS), which will help develop data science skills among 500 young professionals through the Practical Data Scientist Academy (MCIT-PDSA). The MCIT-PDSA is an entirely free training programme that is built from the ground up to refine young Egyptians’ practical experiences with advanced technology, particularly those powered by data science.
The scholarship aims to inaugurate a new generation of data science specialists with internationally accredited certificates and improve the skills of workers in small and medium enterprises in Egypt. The training content is curated by experts on the part of AWS and will be delivered through different platforms, including virtual classes and hands-on exercises.
