Egypt Post Ships Out New Cashless Payment System
Through Egypt Post, people will be able to pay for non-cash services like school fees, housing projects and traffic violations.
Looking to bring a digital edge to snail mail (well, without actually becoming electronic mail, that would be crazy), Egypt Post is beginning to integrate a cashless payment system throughout their services, so people can pay for their transactions as easily and smoothly as possible.
Through Egypt Post, people will be able to pay for non-cash services like school fees, housing projects and traffic violations. They would also be able to pay fees for postal services like buying stamps at point of sale machines in the post office, or the cost of transporting parcels.
Egypt plans to expand the capabilities of cashless payment throughout the nation, implementing QR code technology and mobile phone applications as part of a larger plan to create a more financially inclusive system.
