Egypt Qualifies for 2022 Wheelchair Basketball World Championship

Egypt’s national wheelchair basketball team has qualified for the 2022 Wheelchair Basketball World Championship in Dubai, after winning the qualifiers of the Africa Wheelchair Basketball Championship (IWBF) against South Africa in a match that ended with a tight score of 60 to 58.

This is the first time Egypt has qualified for the world championship since we last participated in Sydney, 1998.

The training and support for the wheelchair basketball team includes coaches Medhat Mustafa Abu Zaid, Gamal Ahmed Gad Al-Rub, and Hassan Mohamed Hassan.
