A bronze statue of the goddess Bastet has been returned to Egypt after it had been smuggled into Canada.
An Ancient Egyptian statue has been brought back home from Canada, after Canadian authorities determined that the artefact had been smuggled into the country. The bronze statue depicted Bastet, an Ancient Egyptian goddess of cats and the home.
