Egypt Rises 11 Spots on UN's B2C E-Commerce Index

With the rising popularity of online shopping amongst Egyptians, it serves as no surprise that Egypt has moved up 11 spots on the 2019 UN Conference on Trade and Development business-to-consumer E-Commerce index, ranking 102nd out of 152 countries. The rise on the index was announced by the Egyptian Cabinet's Information and Decision Support Centre on Wednesday.

This index measures the economy’s readiness to support and engage in online shopping. This year, the Netherlands has made the top of the list.
