VACSERA - the Egyptian holding company for biological products and vaccines - has announced that quadrivalent influenza vaccines have been secured for Egyptians in all of their branches.

That familiar winter nemesis is just around the corner - influenza. With the presence of COVID-19 restrictions, and the mask-wearing and social distancing that came with them, last year saw a record low of flu cases. With many of those restrictions having been lifted throughout 2021, however, the combination of flu season with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic poses a serious health risk. In order to alleviate this risk, VACSERA - the Egyptian holding company for biological products and vaccines - has announced that quadrivalent influenza vaccines have been secured for Egyptians in all of their branches.

The quadrivalent  ‘Influvac’ vaccine - which vaccinates people against four different flu viruses at once - will be available for EGP 170, plus an EGP 10 service fee. For those in Cairo, you can visit their branches in Agouza, Heliopolis, El Shorouk, Cairo International Airport, New Cairo, 6th of October City, Maadi, Rehab, Nasr City, and Dandy Mall. VACSERA also has branches in Alexandria and Kafr El-Sheikh, but for those living in other governorates, the flu vaccines must be taken at your nearest hospital.
