Egypt is Getting Up to 15 New Universities By 2022
To be established by 2022, Egypt's newest universities will include branches from the UK and the USA at the New Administrative Capital, and technological universities that tackle fields like AI.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has indicated that 12 to 15 new universities will be established in 2022. These universities include branches of foreign universities from the UK and the USA at the New Administrative Capital, as well as new technological universities that tackle fields like artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things. At least four of these tech schools - namely King Salman International University, El Galala University, El Alamein International University, and New Mansoura University - have 200 scholarships available to students through the Ministry of Education in the hopes of elevating Egypt's labour force with an advanced tech-focused skillset.
Egypt aims to attract higher numbers of international students from Europe, Asia and across the Arab world, with the hopes that they'll bring in 200,000 students from overseas by 2030.
