Egypt’s Deaf Football Team Kicks Off Africa Tourney with 10-1 Win
Organized by the International Committee of Sports for the Deaf, Egypt has already kicked things off at the Africa Deaflympic Qualifiers in Kenya with a big 10-1 win against Somaliland.
The Egyptian national football team for the deaf has landed in Nairobi, Kenya to participate in the Africa Deaflympics Qualifiers, where they have already kicked things off with a massive 10-1 win against Somaliland in their first match.
Placed in Group D Men alongside Somaliland and Gabon, Egypt is competing to participate in the 2021 Deaflympics in Brazil, which had been postponed to 2022. Organized by the International Committee of Sports for the Deaf, the Qualifiers include teams from Mali, Cameroon, Zanzibar, Senegal and Libya across a variety of ball games, and will run until September 25th.
