Egypt’s Ministry of Health Provides Prosthetic Limbs to Injured Gazans
Medical services to Gazans have included a number of complex medical procedures, including surgical and thoracic exploration.
Egypt's Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, accompanied by North Sinai Governor Mohamed Abdel Fadil Shousha, checked in on wounded Palestinian patients at Bir Al-Abd Model Hospital. The inspection aimed to ensure all medical, supply and blood needs are met for Gazan citizens hurt in the ongoing violence in Gaza.
Five complex surgeries have been performed across specialties on severe cases, including surgical and thoracic exploration, complex fractures and operations due to loss of limbs. The Minister called for prosthetic limbs to be made available to patients requiring such medical procedures, alongside psychological support.
