Egypt to Compete at the 2016 Dodgeball World Cup

Egypt is finally capitalising on the one thing we are good at: balls. We didn’t even know Egypt had a national dodgeball team, but apparently we have two – a women’s and a men’s team – and they are both competing at the 2016 Dodgeball World Cup in Manchester, England this April, reports Yalla Kora.

Eight teams will be competing in the men’s category and they will be divided into two pools; Egypt falls in the first one, which comprises of Wales, England, and Australia. Same goes for the women’s category, except our team falls in the second pool, which comprises of Wales, Australia, and Austria. Egypt is also the only participating country from Africa.

All we know about the sport is that Vince Vaughn is a kickass dodgeballer, and that Ben Stiller sucks balls at it. What we do know for sure is that it involves adults throwing balls at each other like it is some kind of street fight, but you can always watch the duo’s hilarious comedy DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story and see if you can figure it out a little better! Either way, go EGYPT!
