To attract more customers, EgyptAir has announced that they will be teaming up with the National Bank of Egypt and allowing bank customers to pay for tickets in instalments.
According to the MENA report on Tuesday, the state-owned airline announced that NBE customers can pay for flights in instalments over six or 12 months for over 70 domestic and international destinations.
The new policy hopes to encourage a boost in tourism for the start of the Christmas holiday season. However, at the same, EgyptAir announced last week that they would be liberalising the price of their tickets because of the decision to officially devalue the pound, although Egypt’s cabinet has made it abundantly clear that the price of domestic flights to popular tourist destination will remain unchanged.
