EgyptAir Launches First International Flight From Sphinx Airport

EgyptAir has launched its first international round trip from Sphinx International Airport.

The flight carried the board of directors of the Almeria Football Club back to Almeria, Spain, after they toured the Great Pyramids of Giza from Abu Simbel Airport.

The Sphinx International Airport recently reopened after renovations were completed in November 2022. These renovations increased its capacity to accommodate over one million passengers per year.
