Egyptian Actors’ Syndicate Calls on Producers to Halt Filming Large Group Scenes

The syndicate is also pushing producers to ban group travel to remote film sets.

Staff Writer

The Egyptian Actors’ Syndicate is calling upon film and TV series producers to postpone shooting scenes with large groups of people in fears of further facilitating the spread of the coronavirus. The statement also calls for a ban on all large-group travel to remote filming locations, and urges producers to ensure that all members of casts and crews to frequently wash and sterilise their hands as per the guidelines put forth by the Ministry of Health.

Furthermore, producers are also being encouraged to oversee the proper sterilisation of film and TV sets. These precautionary measures are prioritised by the syndicate pending further updates on the coronavirus pandemic.
