Egyptian Armed Forces to Investigate Rafah Shooting Incident

The spokesperson for the Egyptian Armed Forces announced, "The Egyptian Armed Forces are conducting an investigation through the relevant authorities regarding the shooting incident on the border strip in Rafah, which resulted in the martyrdom of one of the security personnel."

Confirmation of the shooting incident was also provided by the Israeli Occupation Forces, who stated, "the [incident] is under investigation, dialogue is taking place with the Egyptian side," as reported by The Times of Israel. This escalation follows Israel’s airstrike on a displacement camp in Rafah, killing at least 45 people.
