Egyptian Cinematographer Taimour Taimour Passes Away at Age 44

Egyptian cinematographer Taimour Taimour has died at the age of 44 after drowning on Saturday evening at Ras El Hekma beach. Reports indicate he lost his life while rescuing his son from the water.

The Egyptian Actors’ Syndicate released a statement mourning his passing, commending his artistic vision and enduring contributions to cinema and television.

Taimour’s recent work as director of photography includes the series Tareeqy (2015), Grand Hotel (2016), and Resalet Al Imam (2023).
