Now that we’ve all seemingly come down with pharaoh fever following the historic #PharaohsGoldenParade, the Ministry of Education has announced that ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics will become part of the official school curriculum for students aged 10 to 18 years-old. “By introducing hieroglyphic writing symbols and their corresponding meanings in Arabic the aim is to increase students’ awareness about their ancient history,” read a statement by the Ministry. The course will also include concepts, skills, and values related to tourism and archaeology.
