Egyptian Water Polo Player Passes Away During Practice at Heliopolis Sporting Club
Moustafa Essam had a stroke during Saturday morning practice, which led to his immediate death.

Heliopolis Sporting Club witnessed a tragic event during Saturday morning water polo practice when one of its players, Moustafa Essam, died after suffering from a heart stroke. The news was made public by Facebook page Sports News Egypt and has since been reported on by numerous local media outlets.
Essam, who was studying towards a degree in Dentistry from Misr International University, has been part of Heliopolis Club's Water Polo team since his childhood. And he's known as an accomplished athlete.
There are no reports that Essam suffered from any preexisting health issues that could have led to his tragic passing.
Heliopolis Club's Management Board issued a decision to hold a funeral ceremony on the premises on Monday.
