Egyptian label Zaam Channels The Old Gods With Their Bag Collection
The brand has a recurring Egyptian theme in its designs.

Zaam, an Egyptian designer label which launched in 2014, has integrated objects reminiscent of Egyptian heritage into their bag designs. This fresh take on heritage heirlooms is an example of the ingenuity of young, contemporary brands appearing all over Egypt.
A prime example of their intriguing aesthetic, and possibly the star of the show, is their Polyroque Rebirth. This pyramid-shaped bag is a hot take on the timeless Ancient Egyptian emblem that incorporates creamy taupe leather and exquisitely engraved gold-plated brass. The same design is also available in clutch form.

Another conversation starter, the Enticed bag, features a Rococo-style mirror complete with all the floral gold trimmings of classical Egyptian décor that we grew up with. Other designs resemble various mementoes of Egyptian culture. The Clamp tote, in particular, is reminiscent of a falahi straw bucket, adorned elegantly with soft camel leather and metal accents for maximum fashion flair.
