Esports World Cup Will Have Largest Ever Prize Pool at USD 60 Million
That's USD 15 million more than the previous largest ever prize pool in esports, which was offered at Gamers8 last year.
The inaugural 2024 Esports World Cup (EWC) in Riyadh will boast the largest prize pool in esports history, with USD 60 million up for grabs over the course of eight competitive weeks.
Organised by the Esports World Cup Foundation, the EWC will include top global clubs competing across 19 game titles, including League of Legends, Counter-Strike 2, Apex Legends, Street Fighter 6, TEKKEN 8, EA Sports FC 24, Fortnite and Dota 2.
The EWC will be the largest venture into esports in Saudi Arabia and the world, especially after Gamers8 in Riyadh last year, which offered a USD 45 million prize pool and broke esports records within the kingdom.
