Adding to the long list of elaborate things Gulfis with too much money and time buy is this latest purchase from Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal. The Saudi prince has gone overboard... Ha! Sorry, we're being silly - there is no such thing as overboard for him. Anyways, he's gone and bought a gold plane. A big one too; an Airbus380 which costs $300 million and he's spending another $200 million to customise it into something King Midas would be proud of. Even though we joke a lot about this kind of situation, wouldn't you want to be his friend?

The Airbus will include a parking space for his Rolls Royce, a stage for private entertainment, a spa, a 'magic carpet' room *deep breath*, holigraphic monitors, prayer mats that automatically adjust to Mecca, and elevators.
