Exchange Woes

It seems that either the Central Bank has issued a new policy or banks are really short in liquidity, but in any case, over the last few weeks, it seems banks are only allowing you to exchange dollars if you are travelling and have a valid visa and ticket with you. Withdrawals via cash cards have also been limited abroad to the equivalent of 2,100 LE per card, per day.

With all gun violence, collapsing economy and destruction of culture we really cannot understand why people want to leave. Living in Egypt is far more interesting when you are threatened with death and poverty, just walking down the streets.
