Experienced Riders Only

Some of the world's top racing talent are set to visit Egypt as a Top Gear style desert challenge looks set to put the country's finest bikers to the test. The Cross Arabia Challenge will feature motorcycle riders from Egypt, the United Kingdom, Romania, Brunei and Germany trekking 2300km across Egypt and Jordan. 

The gruelling test of rider credentials will see participants set off from Egypt's capital and pass by the Sinai Peninsula before crossing the Gulf of Aqaba to Jordan. But that's not all - exhausted riders are then challenged to return to Egypt, riding through Nuweba and Sharm Elsheikh before completing the test at the Pyramids of Giza.

Cross Arabia spokesman Ahmad Elzoghby said: “Cross Arabia Challenge is a unique adventure for both athletes, and adventure travellers. The route of this year’s challenge is very challenging and has been carefully planned to offer a diverse and complete riding experience." The introductory season of Cross Arabia Challenge will take place from June 13^th to June 20^th.
