First Ever Saudi Smash World Table Tennis Championship Comes to Jeddah
With a USD 2 million prize pool, the event boasts the highest rewards offered in any officially sanctioned table tennis event.
Saudi Smash, Jeddah’s first ever World Table Tennis Championship, is set to take place from May 1st to May 11th at the King Abdullah Sports City.
The event will feature World No. 1s Wang Chuqin and Sun Yingsha, who will be headlining the Men’s and Women’s Singles events respectively, with both players looking to fiercely defend their titles. Joining them are table tennis stars Felix Lebrun, Hugo Calderno, Hina Hayata, Lin Yun-Ju and Tomakazi Harimoto, amongst others.
With a prize pool of USD 2 million, this championship boasts the highest rewards ever offered in any officially sanctioned table tennis event.
Tickets are now on sale via the WeBook platform. All ticket-holders will also have access to the Saudi Smash Park, which will be abuzz with live entertainment, and a range of food and beverage options.
